Download and use precompiled Plugin¶
If you wish to not build the plugin from source, you can download the precompiled plugin from the releases page for the version of Unreal and operating system you are using.
You will also be able to find a sample Blocks project in that release where you can install the plugin. Extract the Blocks environment, create a Plugins folder in it and extract the precompiled plugin AirSim folder into that Plugins folder. Doubleclick the Blocks.uproject file in the Blocks folder to start a build of the project and open the Unreal Editor.
Follow this step-by-step guide to setup your own custom environment and Unreal Project to use Cosys-AirSim. But the installation process is the same as described above for the Blocks sample project.
The releases page also comes with additional downloads and links to the several API implementations for ROS(2) and the Python and Matlab API clients for that specific version of the Cosys-AirSim plugin.
